Roxanne (13-5) will face veteran fighter Molly Helsel (8-8-1) in King of The Cage in Okinawa on January 30th, 2010. This fight will take place in the Okinawa Convention Center. Doors open at 4, fights start at 5.

Kirik, my coach, wrote an account of my fight from his perspective: Saturday I had the honor of cornering Roxanne Modafferi at Strikeforce in Chicago. The winner would challenge for the most prestigious title in women’s MMA. Fight ended in 65 seconds, via an armbar so definitive it necessitated a trip to the ER.

On November 7th, Roxanne lost by arm bar to Marloes Coenen at 1:05 in the first round.

Roxanne Modafferi will face Marloes Coenen for a second time at Strikeforce, Nov 7th, in Chicago. "Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers."

Roxanne Modafferi defeated Chisa Yonezawa by unanimous decision, November 8th, 2008 in "Valkyrie 01 Cage Force," Tokyo Japan. She bumps her record up to 13 wins 4 losses. Pictures are up in the gallery.

Los Angeles: Fatal Femmes Fighting 4: Call of the Wild. April 3rd, 2008. Roxanne defeated Brazilian Vanessa Porto in RD3, 53 seconds by TKO (knees) - see pictures.

On May 27th, 2007, Roxanne won the first K-Grace One Night 8-woman tournament, and took home the $10,000 prize!

1st Fight: Beat  Lee HeeJin by arm lock 20 seconds left in the first round.
2nd Fight: Beat Megumi Yabushita by decision (I did a lot of punching
and took her back a lot)
3rd Fight (final) Beat Marloes Coenen by split decision.

Roxanne is fighting in K-Grace, put on by Marupuro in cooperation with GCM's Cage Force. This will be Japan's first all-women's cage fighting event, a one-night eight woman tournament.  May 27th at 6:30 in Differ Ariake Colosseum. Other known participants are Megumi Yabushita and Marleos Coenen.

On March 6, at 23:00 EST, Roxanne's fight with Shayna Baszler aired on Bodog's St Petersberg show on ION, channel 255 on DirecTV. This fight can be viewed online here
